“We’re going on a bear hunt. It’s a beautiful day! We’re not scared!”

From T Rex’s baby days, this has been a favorite family adventure. We’ve gone on bear 🐻 hunts in our home, in the woods, at the park and this book gives us all the lines for playing out the whole trip.

We love the spirit in this book, that getting dirty and wet 💦 and cold ❄️ and a little scared 😳 is worth the adventure of a lifetime! 😎

The illustrations switch back and forth from color to black and white and I’ve just always liked that style.

We used to tell T Rex that when the bear goes back to his cave, he was just so sad because he wanted some friends, but all they heard was “Raaawrrrr!!”
