Anyone else miss Strawberry 🍓 picking by a day? Apparently, Ohio has been hot, so in our area, the season ended early. Instead, I put them All over our table and we picked them off the table instead. 🤣🤷🏼‍♀️

The little mouse 🐭 in this book did not miss strawberry 🍓 picking and he may have to pay for it if the big hungry bear 🐻 comes to get it before he can eat it! He can smell just-picked strawberries from very far away and will stop at nothing to get that strawberry in his belly…at least, that’s what the narrator tells him, whoever that is 🤷🏼‍♀️

Every time we read The Little Mouse, The Red Ripe Strawberry, and THE BIG HUNGRY BEAR, we laugh a lot. 🤣 There is a funny secret to this story that gets better as you get older, so it appeals to young and old alike. 🧒🏼👵🏾

This particular copy is older than me and falling apart at the seams and for good reason. It has been read and enjoyed by my brothers and me, my nieces and nephews, and now my kids and the story still hasn’t gotten old.
