Pepito, “our pride and joy…the world’s most wonderful boy!”

We love our dear Pepito. My memories of this book were not as humerous as I find it to be today. 😂 I love when a book continues to surprise throughout the years.

The character development in Madeline and the Bad Hat, is impressive. Madeline proves herself to be the best kind of friend, one who not only expects more, but who can help you get there. She knows just what Pepito needs to hear and when he needs to hear it.

Pepito is a boy in need of honest friendship. He truly is the most wonderful boy and needs a friend like Madeline to uncover it.

The lines that make us laugh out loud?

“He ate them ROASTED, GRILLED, and FRITO! Oh, what a horror was PEPITO!” 🐔🍗

“And lo and behold, the former Barbarian
Turned into a Vegetarian.”

‘And as Miss Clavel turned out the light
She said, “I knew it would all come out right.”‘ 🤦🏼‍♀️😂
