With so many new books, it’s not always easy to find the good ones. I took a chance on this New York Times best seller and was so satisfied.

Written by Matthew A. Cherry and illustrated by Vashti Harrison, this book portrays the kind of daddy I wish every daddy could be. His little girl has hopes, dreams, desires, and insecurities. And knowing all that, he works endlessly to make her feel the way he already sees her, in vibrant color.

This is a book about a modern family that I hope shapes all our lives as we read it together.
